COMBITWIST tapered brush knotted KBG Ø 115x15 mm M14 stainless steel wire Ø 0.50mm angle grinder (1). Very aggressive brush. Excellent for heavy-duty brushing work such as deburring, cleaning, derusting and descaling as well as for removing welding spatter. PFERD uses wire grade 1.4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes in order to meet the special requirements for working on stainless steel (INOX). Practical experience from the industrial environment confirms that it has very good corrosion resistance with an optimum service life. All PFERD brushes with INOX fill are marked blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. Wire grade 1.4310 tends to behave ferromagnetically when work hardened, i.e. it is attracted by magnets. This is due to a change in the microstructure caused by deformation, e.g. during wire drawing. This has no effect on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX trim. It retains its corrosion-resistant properties. Stainless steel wire (INOX) can withstand temperatures of up to 450 °C.
