Suitable for drilling in high-alloy steel and metal with a tensile strength of 1000 N/mm², e.g. acid and heat-resistant steels and stainless steel. QUAD EDGE(TM) drill point: unique combination of 135° cross-grinding and 4 cutting edges: 135° cross-grinding for easier centring, no centre punching required. 4 cutting edges produce smaller chips for less heat generation and longer tool life. Variable spiral geometry for faster chip removal and less heat generation. Reinforced drill core: The innovative core has a conical design and becomes stronger towards the shank. Strengthens the drill bit and increases the service life of the spiral.
