3M (TM) Universal Adhesive 10 is used without the addition of hardener and has a long bonding range. The product is water and oil resistant and is used for bonding metals and plastics. Particularly suitable for bonding laminate, decorative and hardboard, plywood, veneer, sheet metal, rubber, leather and textiles. Universal adhesive based on nitrile rubber 3M (TM) Universal Adhesive 10 has been in use for more than 60 years and impresses with its performance on many substrates. Good ageing, UV and moisture resistance characterize solvent-based adhesive 10 - its long bonding span gives time for positioning and alignment of the materials. Possible applications Production of stable composite panels Bonding with high initial adhesion Woodworking Adhesive application 3M (TM) Solvent Adhesive 10 is applied with a spray gun, brush or roller. Stir the product well before use and apply evenly to both surfaces. If the solvent-based adhesive is applied in overlapping coats, this first coat should sufficiently wet most surfaces. Highly absorbent and porous substrates may require a second coat. Following the flash-off time, which depends on the temperature, humidity and air circulation as well as the porosity of the material surfaces, the components are joined within the bonding range.
