3M (TM) Scotch-Weld (TM) DP 490 is a viscoplastic and thixotropic 2-component construction adhesive based on epoxy resin with a 2:1 mixing ratio. DP 490 was developed for use in applications that are exposed to extreme loads and require high strength. High temperature resistance up to 120 °C allows the bond to withstand higher stresses. Good impact resistance and exceptional stability under static and dynamic loads. DP 490 has very good ageing properties. Easy application to vertical surfaces thanks to thixotropic composition. DP 490 exhibits special properties in the manufacture of various composite assemblies. The product has very high temperature resistance and excellent weather resistance.
