This highly ductile acrylic adhesive with structural strength is ideal for bonding dissimilar materials, joining thin panels where an invisible bond is required and any other application requiring flexible bonds. Structural strength with the flexibility of a urethane adhesive 3M (TM) Scotch-Weld (TM) Flexible Acrylic Adhesive DP8625NS is a structural strength adhesive that cures quickly and requires minimal surface preparation. It is an acrylic adhesive that offers high flexibility and elongation comparable to urethanes or sealants. This black, non-flowing and low odor 2-component acrylic adhesive allows the use of thin panels as it provides an almost invisible bond line and shrinks very little during curing. It is characterized by a 400 % higher elongation capacity and is resistant to stresses that occur with materials with different thermal expansion coefficients. This adhesive requires minimal surface preparation and is not classified as a health hazard under GHS08. It contains 250 µm glass beads to adjust the bond line thickness. This adhesive has a working time of 23 minutes and reaches handling strength after 28 minutes. It ensures bonding with minimal surface preparation, even on slightly oily surfaces.
