3M (TM) Scotch-Weld (TM) DP 270 is a 2-component construction adhesive based on epoxy resin. The product is UL listed and can be used as a potting compound. Working time at room temperature 70 minutes - hand strength after 3 hours 3M (TM) Scotch-Weld (TM) DP 270 is a hard 2-component epoxy-based construction adhesive for the EPX system. The product with a long working time is also used as a potting compound for electronics and has good thermal and electrical properties even when exposed to moisture. Furthermore, the potting compound develops only a low exothermic reaction during curing and does not corrode copper. Scotch-Weld DP 270 is UL-listed and was developed for bonding metals as well as for potting and protecting electrical and electronic components.
