Adhesive 8910 provides structural bonding to polyamides (nylon), other engineering thermoplastics, aluminum and other metals without the need for extensive surface preparation by plasma treatment or flame treatment. The 3M (TM) Scotch-Weld (TM) Structural Adhesive for Nylon DP8910NS is a black, non-flowing and non-flammable 2-component viscoplastic acrylic-based structural adhesive that provides structural adhesion to polyamides (nylon) without the need for extensive surface preparation by plasma treatment or flame treatment. The 8910 adhesive also provides excellent bond strength to aluminum, stainless steel and other metals commonly bonded to plastic surfaces. This structural adhesive offers good resistance to high and low temperatures, humidity and salt spray environments. The adhesive is fast curing and achieves handling strength quickly while providing excellent flexibility and impact resistance.
