Scotch-Brite (TM) SC-BS non-woven belts for finishing work are used for matting stainless steel, brass, copper and aluminum. They are particularly suitable for use as file and short belts. Due to the open structure of the non-woven fabric and the associated high flexibility, the belt follows contours and surfaces and adapts to the workpiece. New abrasive minerals work continuously without undergrinding the workpiece while maintaining critical tolerances. The homogeneous mineral distribution enables an even, reproducible surface result. These non-woven belts are very suitable for dry sanding thanks to a built-in lubricant, but can be used with all common sanding additives.
