The moisture-curing 3M (TM) polyurethane seam sealers (1K) are suitable for sealing seams during vehicle repairs. The 3M (TM) polyurethane seam sealers consist of a high-strength 1K adhesive sealant and cure to a robust, flexible material within 24 hours in humid conditions. (The curing speed depends on the bead thickness and the ambient conditions). Temperature resistant from -40 °C to +90 °C (up to 120 °C for short periods). Ideal for sealing medium-width and wide car body joints and weld seams. Also suitable for wood and plastic. Can be applied directly to bare steel; suitable as a weld-through sealant. The product must still be moist (within 35 minutes of application). The product must cure (at least 45 minutes) before applying water-based basecoats.
