3M (TM) Rubber Adhesive 1300L TF is a polychloroprene-based solvent adhesive with a short bonding span and high initial strength. The product is fast setting, has high temperature resistance and is often used for bonding natural and synthetic rubber or rubber to metals, wood and plastics. Also suitable for large-area bonding of rubber sheets or bumpers. Polychloroprene-based rubber adhesive 3M (TM) Solvent Adhesive 1300L TF can be reactivated and is particularly suitable for applications with rubber materials. The product also bonds neoprene, reclaimed rubber, styrene-butadiene and butyl rubber to metals, wood and most plastics. 3M (TM) Rubber Adhesive 1300L TF is characterized by its short bonding range with high initial strength and high temperature resistance up to 150 °C. The product can also be reactivated with a short bonding span. Adhesive application 3M (TM) Solvent Adhesive 1300L TF is applied with a spray gun, brush or roller. Stir the product well before use and apply evenly to both surfaces. If the solvent-based adhesive is applied in overlapping coats, this first coat should sufficiently wet most surfaces. Once at least 80% of the surface is covered with the solvent cement, the required coverage has been achieved. Highly absorbent and porous substrates may require a second application. Following the flash-off time, which depends on the temperature, humidity and air circulation as well as the porosity of the material surfaces, the components are joined within the bonding range.
