3M (TM) Marine Adhesive and Sealant based on polyurethane 5200 is particularly hard-wearing and develops good sealing properties. Its high flexibility allows it to absorb vibrations, shock loads and shrinkage or swelling. The product also has excellent resistance to weathering and salt water. Any stress caused by impact or vibration is effectively absorbed. Bonding and sealing with this product can be carried out both indoors and outdoors. Use in hull-deck bonding and for sealing deck fittings and hull openings. This adhesive and sealing compound is also used for keel sealing. 3M (TM) 5200 is the first choice for sealing many gaps between struts and planks. Stern joints and deck superstructures made of wood and GRP - these two materials can also be sealed well. The adhesive and sealant is applied using a cartridge gun.
