3M (TM) Fiberglass Cloth Tape 9 is a white, 0.178 mm thick tape with a 0.140 mm thick glass cloth backing coated on one side with a flame retardant, thermosetting, pressure sensitive, high temperature silicone adhesive. The 3M (TM) Glass Fiber Fabric Tape 9, intended for use in certain automotive applications requiring heat resistance and electrical insulation, is a white, 0.178 mm thick tape with a 0.140 mm thick glass fabric backing. The thermosetting silicone adhesive requires no heat, moisture or other preparation. It is flame retardant and has a UL temperature resistance rating of 200 °C.
