The 3M (TM) Polyester Insulating Tape 74 is a 0.02 mm thick all-purpose insulating tape with a polyester carrier. Suitable for a temperature range from 0 to 130 °C. 3M (TM) Polyester Film 74 is an extremely thin and elastic insulating tape. The adhesive tape, which is only 0.02 millimetres thin, can withstand a breakdown voltage of 3,500 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C, belongs to insulating material class B. While the thermosetting rubber adhesive is particularly resistant to "flagging", the backing has very high tear and abrasion resistance. The yellow polyester film is suitable for coil applications in confined spaces.
