3M (TM) Cushion-Mount (TM) Plus plate mounting tapes are specially designed for flexographic printing. Cushion-Mount Plus are double-sided plate mounting tapes with an elastic foam backing, coated on both sides with acrylic adhesive. Excellent compressibility and optimum resilience of the foam ensure consistently high print quality. 3M (TM) Cushion-Mount (TM) Plus plate mounting tape E1020 is used for easy mounting of flexographic printing plates on cylinders or sleeves. It enables high-quality printing results when solid and halftone elements are present in equal parts. Our Easy Mount protective film creates micro-channels on both sides of the adhesive. The diamond-shaped grid pattern creates a continuous and permanent network of microchannels in the adhesive film, which allows air to escape between the adhesive tape and cylinder/sleeve and between the adhesive tape and cliché. The adhesive on the side with the protective film (facing the cliché) was specially developed for photopolymer plates. It has a high holding force during the printing process and enables the printing plate to be removed easily afterwards. The adhesive on the side (facing the cylinder) without protective film has been specially developed for printing cylinders/sleeves. It ensures that the adhesive tape is easy to apply during assembly and can be removed cleanly during disassembly.
