The 3M (TM) Acrylic Plus adhesive tape of the EX4000 series is made of black acrylic foam and is suitable for use on difficult-to-bond automotive surfaces such as powder coatings, clear coats containing nanoparticles, PP EPDM etc. The double-sided adhesive tape is used to attach plastic add-on parts such as moldings, body side moldings, wheel arch extensions to the body or door. EX4000 is characterized by very good adhesion to modern and difficult-to-bond automotive surfaces; suitable for various paint systems as well as primerless for low-energy plastic surfaces.
