3M (TM) 8820 Thermally Conductive Adhesive Film is designed to create a preferential thermal conductive path between high heat dissipation components and heat sinks or other cooling devices (e.g. fans, heat spreaders or heat pipes). The special chemistry of this tape makes it moderately soft and enables it to wet many types of surfaces. This allows it to conform well to non-flat substrates, provides high adhesion and acts as a good thermal contact surface.
